SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT (SFM) CERTIFICATION PROCEDURE
This is the voluntary implementation of procedures aimed at obtaining GFS Certification of the forests managed by the GO partner SAFs, with adaptation of the existing Forest Management Plans, which were joined in the course of the project by the Catria Special Consortium Company.
After a lot of hard work, on December 30, 2022, THE #BOSCODIMARCA GROUP OBTAINED SUSTAINABLE FOREST MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION ACCORDING TO PEFC STANDARDS 1000:2015 AND 1001-1:2015 BY THE CSQA CERTIFICATION ENTITY!!!
THE BIG GOAL OF THIS OPERATING GROUP HAS BEEN REACHED!

IDENTIFICATION METHODOLOGY OF COUNTING AND EVALUATION OF THE INDICATORS IDENTIFIED IN THE SFM MANUAL
It consists in the counting of stored Carbon and the evaluation of sustainability credits generated by specific forest management and agroforestry sinks of the territory, through the experimentation of different types of management, integrative forest analysis and field analysis on soil profiles and laboratory analysis on soil samples.
Following this, silvicultural training will be carried out on best practices for a qualitative growth in the employment of forest workers and an increase in the communicative capacity of the partnership, aimed at spreading the concept of environmental service of forests and a collective recognition (including economic) of this service.
In this regard, the SUSTAINABILITY CREDIT EXCHANGE PLATFORM !!!
DISSEMINATION AND KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER
Dissemination of the project results on the territory, in order to increase the requests for surfaces to be managed according to the standards of Sustainable Forest Management and possibly to be certified.
